The word "giclée" (pronounced [ʒiːˈkleɪ] "zhee-clay" or /dʒiːˈkleɪ), is derived from the French language word "le gicleur" meaning "nozzle", or more specifically "gicler" meaning "to squirt, spurt, or spray".  Prints are available on original artists materials such as watercolour paper and canvas.
