Giclée print is now widely known and accepted as a category in art and it is a registered technology in fine-arts. The word "giclée" (pronounced [ʒiːˈkleɪ] "zhee-clay" or /dʒiːˈkleɪ), is derived from the French language word "le gicleur" meaning "nozzle", or more specifically "gicler" meaning "to squirt, spurt, or spray".  Prints are available on original artists materials such as watercolour paper and canvas. Fine-art has been revolutionised with the giclée printing process due to the exceptional results it produces.
